When I’m asked to recommend a voice teacher, Victoria Hart is certainly one of the names that immediately comes to mind. Her intuitive and pedagogical grasp of the voice is unsurpassed. Victoria has the ability to engage a student in a variety of ways, from the purely subjective use of metaphor to the most pedagogically precise description of the vocal mechanism. Dr. Hart brings this formidable array of talents and techniques to the studio—to the benefit of her students. I recommend her with pleasure and without question.

Ms. Hart not only demonstrates an obvious understanding of the physical apparatus of the voice but manages as well to describe it with clarity and practical benefit to her students. The engagement of her whole body as a singer allows her to convey the necessary steps to effect change where a pupil might be experiencing physical inhibition or technical deficiency. She is a positive, cheerful and even lusty individual who seems to have a calling as a teacher which harmonizes with her active performing career. I heartily recommend Vicky Hart for her mastery in allowing one's singing potential to emerge and flourish.

As a longtime friend and colleague of Vicky’s, I applaud her warmth and artistic integrity. I have seen the changes, improvements and satisfaction of the singers that join her vocal studio. She is a genuine teacher, talented and straight forward, with much to offer to all.

In a matter of two years, Vicky took me from a singer who could barely get hired to a busy working professional. Not only is the technique she teaches a strong, valuable set of tools that has served me well, but she also has a rare ability to diagnose a singer's problems and mold her teaching to address those issues. She has a rare gift, a fantastic ear, and is insightful in her guidance and advice.

Vicky's natural teaching instincts coupled with incredible technique have elevated my vocal technique in a remarkable way in the past two years that I've been studying with her. The technique is so reliable that I've had amazing auditions recently even on days when I felt under-the-weather. Moreover, her ability to teach technique is supplemented by a wonderful mentorship that has allowed me to grow my career in a smart and successful way. I am so grateful to Vicky!

Victoria Hart: Performer, technician, mentor and an excellent voice teacher. Her instruction has improved my voice in ways unimagined. Every lesson is an experience in learning more about my instrument and the way I use it. She has excellent ears, good judgement and is determined to help you become a better singer. She is intensely concerned with your progress and understanding in the vocal ideas she is teaching and is determined for you to progress as a vocalist, musician, performer and a person. Her technique is simple, practical, healthy and it works every time. She is a singers’ teacher.

Vicky teaches with clarity and complete knowledge of how the voice works, she is kind and empathetic while demanding excellence of herself and her students. The result of my work with her has been a strong and reliable technique that has allowed me to become the expressive singer I had always hoped to be. The response from everyone I have sung for since Vicky and I have worked together has been overwhelmingly positive and I am now working at a higher level than I had thought possible.

Studying with Vicky has been a transforming experience for me. There are no mysteries about the technique she teaches, and I feel that I now have a practical knowledge of my voice that I never had before. Vicky incorporates technique, interpretation, and artistry all together—one depends on the other. Not only have I received compliments on the improvement of my voice since studying with her, but I've also been told how I really sound more like me! As a result of studying with Vicky, I also have had many more professional engagements.

Dr. Victoria Hart is one of the most professional teachers I have worked with and her lessons are always complete and exciting. She is well prepared and the classes are one hundred percent enjoyable. Dr. Hart works closely with your technique and makes you aware of any problems and then right away works with you to fix them. I respect her honesty and professional advice. She understands you as a person and as a singer. She has helped me make a transition into this wonderful career from a student to a professional Opera Singer.

Vicky has taught me how to be proactive rather than reactive. With Vicky's technique I am learning how to fix the problem before it happens and to be completely aware of my body as I am singing. The most important thing I learned from her is that the voice is always there, it's just learning how to maintain the correct structure so that it comes out the way it’s supposed to.
